That festive time of year has come again and with it sometimes carries the stress of all the preparation needed for the day. For my family, on the morning of Christmas Day we would gather around our always over-decorated Christmas tree and give out presents to our loved ones. This would be followed by a roast lunch with hot vegetables, and later washed down with Christmas pudding and custard. Or a big slice of pavlova. Sometimes, mostly every time, it would be both. The dessert is without fail as important as the main. Then come dinner we would do it all over again, substituting the vegetables for cold salads, and another helping or two of dessert. This would always be enjoyed and shared with close family, and by the end of the day, if you were not in a food coma, you had not done Christmas right.
Part of the stress is thinking what to give everyone, which is why we have decided to help you out by eliminating at least one stressor. We may not be able to cook your dinner, but we can at least guide you in what teas we think will make a great gift, stocking filler, or digestive beverage during the day. Below is a list of teas we think you should try this Christmas, because as we all know, you can never go wrong with tea.
Winter Tea
Whenever I drink this tea, I automatically think of Christmas, with its spiced aroma and tasting notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and clove, accompanied by a slightly sweet and floral flavour. Do not let the name fool you into thinking this tea is only for the cooler months, it is called Winter Tea because it is made to boost your immunity during winter, however, this tea can be enjoyed all year round. What better timing too, than feeling healthy for the festive season. For people who enjoy a spiced tea, this would be on the top of my list of recommendations this Christmas.
With our ready to serve tea bags, brewing this tea is as easy as adding boiling water to your pot or cups. What we love about this tea (other than its delightful taste), is its ability to restore your energy, and strengthen your metabolism and immune system. This tea can help with coughs, colds, flu, digestive problems, swelling, and nausea. Our Winter Tea is made for soothing your stomach after you have had a little too much to eat, and keep you ready for more this eating season.

This tea goes hand in hand with a hot Christmas Day, guaranteeing to quench your thirst and to impress your guests. I love the combination of peach with green tea, so if anyone you know is like me and were to receive this as a gift, I think they would be very pleased.
Not only possessing its light and refreshing taste, Maojian green tea is also rich in antioxidants, and is said to lower cholesterol, blood pressure, and aid in cardiovascular health. A tea that boasts these type of health benefits would make for the perfect gift for anyone who struggles in those areas, or to anyone who wants to maintain their health. Containing no artificial flavourings, you can be assured our Peach Fused Maojian Green Tea is 100 percent natural and ready to be passed on as a gift this Christmas.
Rosemallow Tea
Last but not least is our pick for tea lovers who like their tea light and well balanced. What makes this marshmallow and rose flower tea special is how it is home to many health benefits, but without the bitter astringent taste of other natural herbs. Do not be fooled, this tea does not taste like the confectionary, but has a mellow earthy flavour, delicately balanced with fragrant floral buds of rose, that highlights the natural sweetness of the marshmallow flower.
This tea makes the perfect gift for those wanting to improve their health or wanting a tea that is smooth and relaxing. A beautiful mix of purple and pink flowers, our Rosemallow Tea compliments wonderfully with a comfy chair and a good book, especially to unwind after the Christmas hustle and bustle. Marshmallow flower has played a role in herbal medicine for centuries, showcasing outstanding benefits in protecting our gut from gastric ulcers, smoothing skin irritation, relieving coughs, and gastric reflux. Whilst rose contains high levels of vitamin C essential for our body’s healing. Do not feel bogged down this festive season, skip into it feeling fantastic.
