The Harumade Story
From the comfort of our home…
One of our favourite past times is to sit on our balcony, enjoying warm conversation, and appreciating the moment at hand. This is accompanied by a freshly brewed pot of tea of course! These moments became a vital part of our daily routine, and the more we did, the more we began to appreciate the power of tea. When we drink tea, we feel it taking us to a world of peace and comfort. Whether we are drinking alone or with someone special- we fell in love with the feeling of pure bliss that tea brings. We knew right then, that we wanted to share these experiences.
We asked ourselves how we could capture the essence of tea. Our answer to that was tea infused cake. The answer to life’s questions is always cake. We went from riding high on the wave of tea, to the wave crashing over us, dashing our hope. There were many failed attempts to balance the flavours of tea in cake, and there were times where we felt like the wave was just too big. But we did not give up, and instead we found something that worked- tea infused caramel.Â
From there, we thought why not make our own tea range that showcases what tea means to us. A range that nurtures self-comfort, and brings people together through sharing a cup of our tea. We directed our focus to creating a range dedicated towards health and wellbeing. By using key ingredients that maximise wellness, we fused these into teas made to nourish our body and soul. They are flavours that we enjoy, and think you will too.Â

Our vision is to share our tea products with our wonderful following, and for you to share them with the special people in your life. Both our teas and caramels contain high quality tea leaves, boosting health benefits, and are individually made.
We discovered that not all teas worked with our caramel. It was a challenge to find the right tea leaves that complemented the ingredients we were using. After much experimentation, we discovered that quality tea leaves of certain tea varieties enhanced our caramel to the level we wanted to achieve.Â
This is to be said with our tea range. We spent many long hours sourcing tea, combining flavours, and sitting back on our balcony, slowly sipping, savouring our freshly brewed teas. Our life was hard, we know. But by doing this, we were able to source the finest teas to share with you. And we are delighted with the products we have created.Â
We are a small independent business who is still growing and trying new things. We thank you for coming along on this journey with us, and for supporting our local products. We hope to keep expanding, creating new products, and sharing the love and togetherness of tea. Accompanied with a slice of cake, of course.Â
